We offer a few types of special installations at Saltwater Farm, including the "Under the Garden Arches" dining package, string lighting on the exterior of the Event Barn and picnic/brunch set-ups on the Ceremony Lawn. Dance under the stars with our portable dance floor on the gravel outside the Event Barn or bring our Horse Trailer Bar to the property for true farm-style bar service and even more fun! Have you found a cozy nook of the property you’d like to gather at? We would love to hear your ideas and help bring them to life. At Saltwater Farm, the possibilities seem truly endless.
With the opportunity for multi-day events, it is also not uncommon to have items delivered to multiple areas of Saltwater Farm for your celebration. Items can be delivered to any of the three main event spaces: the Gathering Space for a welcome drink, a setup in the Garden for a rehearsal dinner and main reception items to the Event Barn are a few examples. Simply request this by leaving us a helpful note such as:
“We’d like 100 wine glasses to the garden for rehearsal and 150 wine glasses to the barn for reception”
Typically, we deliver all items on the same day you check in and pick them up when you check out. Please keep in mind that items delivered to specific areas, must be left in the same areas for pickup.
We love setting up cozy camping vibes at Lakedale Resort! Beat the burn bans by renting a propane fire pit or patio heaters . Take advantage of the vast property with a wedding arbor out at “The Point” for your ceremony. Add some plush lounge seating to your campsite or party-on all weekend with “Lucky”, our Horse Trailer Bar and some fun lawn games like our all-new Ladder Toss.
Enjoying the gorgeous, natural surroundings Lakedale has to offer comes with a few limitations when renting tableware with us. As with all of our rental items used for food service (plates, bowls, cups, flatware, etc.), items left for pickup must be scraped and rinsed by your catering team or a member of your party. “The Meadow” is not equipped with a rinsing station. We offer an extra dishwashing fee that may be added on to your order in lieu of having to transport food service items back and forth for scraping and rinsing. Please note that this dishwashing fee will automatically be applied to any items not left in a condition that aligns with this rental policy.
Roche Harbor Resort offers wonderful full-service wedding packages on San Juan Island. We are happy to fill in with creative ideas such as lounge furniture, pendant light installations, pavilion drapery or specific tableware items that you may desire for your big weekend.
We normally make deliveries on the day of your event between 8am and 9am and pickup the following morning at the same time.
We have also provided rentals to “Shipwreck’s Cove” and on private boats or slips in the harbor for perhaps a memorable cocktail evening or other type of celebration.
RESIDENCES
& OUTER-ISLANDS
We service the San Juan Islands, the outer islands and the mainland of NW Washington as well. This includes established venues like Guemes Island Resort and private properties alike. Trusting us to create a “venue” on your property is a welcomed and exciting challenge we enjoy. With an extensive inventory of tenting, lighting, farm tables and dance floors; we can dream up a bash as large or small as you’d like to host. We can also provide set up services, such as table dressing and decorating for your event.
Depending on the scale of your event, we may ask that you bring on a planning team and/or designate a single point of contact for coordination of services at your event. This helps to ensure your shindig runs smoothly and minimizes miscommunication by having a single point of contact for your event. Please be mindful that while we would love to offer this service, we are not event planners or coordinators. Referrals are available and encouraged.
Services that we do not provide: catering (or food related services), restroom rentals, waste management/cleanup or entertainment. We’d be happy to refer you to someone within our wonderful network of vendors or entertainment professionals for any of the services mentioned above.
